Enter Adulthood?

You don’t have to have all the answers right now.  No one does.

We put so much pressure on ourselves to have everything lined up in a straight line so we can properly live like an adult.

Must go to college.

Must pick marketable major.

Must get 4.0.

Must join every association and group in the university to build my resume.

Must get eleven internships.

Must get a well-paying job after graduation and sit in a cubicle 10 hours a day and develop bad posture.

Must move out of parents house.

Must find mate.

Must get married.

Must have 2.7 children and a dog.

Must save for retirement.

Must accept that this is what an adult means.

We’ve been told exactly what we should do.

We’ve been classified into random categories such as “emerging adulthood” and “pre-adulthood” that were created so people could collect data and then write about it in scientific journals.

But you know what?  They’re right.  We are different.  We want more out of life.  And we’re willing to work really hard for it - but it has to be on our terms.

Welcome to the New Adulthood.

This is is a forum where we talk about your career, personal life, confidence, love, and money.

If you are fine with the status quo, staying in a dead-end job, and contributing to the grind every day - then this site isn’t for you.

This is for the ones that are different…that want to make a change and are ready to push through the barriers and define adulthood on their own terms.
